A lot of preparation begins in Valdai!!!
The museum of the county town is preparing for a large-scale exhibition, which is called "What keeps the Earth."
The exhibition is dedicated to ancient ideas and folk legends about the Earth, the Sun, and the Universe.
The theme is revealed through the display of ethnographic objects, bells, historical artifacts depicting symbols of heavenly bodies, Holders of the World, the Tree of Life, models of terrestrial space from the plane, hemisphere, rhombus, to the ball, which rest on the backs of elephants, whales, turtles, walruses…
The exhibition opens on July 7 at 17 o'clock.
